Do we use our own contract?
Yes. You upload your own contract template with your terms, clauses, and signature blocks. Mikla fills in the booking details, names, dates, line items, and totals, and never changes your wording or invents a clause.
Is the e-signature legally binding?
Yes. Signatures are legally binding under the US ESIGN Act and UETA, and under eIDAS in the EU. Every signed document carries a tamper-proof audit trail with timestamps and IP capture. No separate e-signature subscription is required.
How do we get paid?
Through Stripe. Every contract can include a secure payment link for the deposit or a full payment schedule. Funds go straight to your own Stripe account, and Mikla advances the booking stage the moment a payment clears. Card and bank payments are both supported.
Can we take partial deposits or payment plans?
Yes. Take a full deposit, a fixed percentage, or split the total into a schedule with multiple due dates. Mikla tracks each installment and sends balance reminders automatically as each date approaches.
